30 second Google indexing?

By  Linus Rylander  |  April 20, 2008

I just posted a post at Lemonarian Life, which is my Personal Development blog. Now, I have Google Alerts set up to notify me every time someone mentions my name or things related to me on the web, so naturally I get one every time I make a blog post as soon as Google has crawled the page.

And I checked my inbox almost immediately after I posted, read an email or two… And then, there it was. It took google 1 minute AT MOST. I’ve never witnessed such a fast indexing job from google before, and they don’t crawl this blog nearly as fast…

And keep in mind that I still only have a pagerank 0 on both of my blogs, because they’re both new. In fact, this blog is so new that I bet no one’s reading it yet! :P

    I’m reading it :p
Google is extremely efficient in indexing pages and being a new site isn’t always a knock. Actually new sites are free from knocks that older sites may pick up like questionable links and scraped content by spammers.

    Great job so far!

Yep .. im reading your blog too!

Yeah.. i must try that soon.. does it really index that fast?
I havent gotten round to using google alerts yet.. however when i do i think ill setup a seperate Email for it..
I dont really fancy getting emailed EVERY time i post a new article or video as Many other Websites SCRAPE our information from our sites and autopost to their own.. it happens me about 30-40 times per week..

ok .. Nice Post.. Good luck with the New Blog.
