How To Pre-sell LIKE A BAWSS

by Linus Rylander

Hey peeps,

So this past week’s launch went well… and I believe my new course (http://www.DoublePunchPresell.com/ ) is one of the first of its kind.

It’s about… Pre-selling. There are a lot of courses about all kinds of copywriting and persuasion out there… but very few about Pre-selling.

Most people equate a pre-sell with “landing page” – at least as far as affiliates go.

Eeek. Not true.

I would define it more like… everything you do to establish YOUR OWN credibility prior to asking for the sale.

For example… 4 or 5 page pre-sell SEQUENCES that teach something. You don’t sell anything… just teach real useful stuff. Doing this you can establish yourself as an expert and someone worth trusting… without having to “convince” someone that you are in fact worth trusting.

It doesn’t have to be on a website either. For example, the launch sequence I did to my list was a series of 5 emails. Tuesday to Saturday. Launch email went out yesterday, monday. You can get on my list (in the sidebar) to see how I do this in future launches. For the first 3 emails there wasn’t even a link in any of ‘em. Just awesome content that engaged people.

That’s actually the first kind of Pre-sell I teach inside “The Double Punch Pre-sell Formula”.

The second kind is the quicker, “slap ‘em in the face” style pre-sell, called the “affiliate pre-sell”.

This is a pre-sell you can do in 500 words or less, which I typically use to sell affiliate offers… and get huge conversions. You’ll see a live demo of it inside the course.

Another thing, which is an important element of pre-selling… and in fact, all kinds of copywriting…

Storytelling… you can weave in stories in your content to establish huge authority. Extremely powerful, and will definitely kick your conversions up a few notches.

So broaden your views a little bit… Pre-selling is FAR more than the crappy 5 minute pages you see all over… with bullets swiped from sales pages… and pre-made templates sent out by vendors. Stop hiding behind those screens, and don’t be afraid to step up and establish YOUR authority in your marketplace.

Until next time…

Linus

    Hi Linus,

Really enjoying your new course. I have so much trash printed out and on my hard drive and have absolutely no time nor concentration to wade through pages and pages trying to highlight key points. What you give me is pure content-I can’t go higher than 100% but that is what I get. I find my focus and determination has totally increased and I am starting to see a way forward for me. Knowing you are a real person who responds to questions and fills the gaps left by so many other gurus-I simply applaude you!

    Hi there,

I know nothing about pre selling but… I don’t really have to because people seek me out to do the work for them, so the truth is I don’t do any selling other than sell my work. I am talking about off line work not on line work when I say this and I haven’t really tried to sell anything on line yet but I will.

I know that pre selling works because I see it all the time with about 200-300 emails in my spam folder most days but it don’t work with me, that’s not say that it’s any measure of it not being good, it’s just that I am seasoned.

You see it has been said forever that cleanliness is next to Godliness but it’s not true, you wash natural oils off that are there to protect you and replace them with chemicals, a unique selling point, God likes clean people covered with our chemicals according to soap manufactures. So the story’s work, even when they are not even true, convince people they have a problem then sell them a product to get rid of it. It works even better if you can get other people to tell the story for you, a really interesting book to read (The Psychology Influence of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini, Ph.D.)

    Thanks, Gareth.

    Hey Gareth… that’s the point!
Everyone gets 200-300 emails every day. I actually just made a new email account myself to start from scratch… But as you said, you don’t open them.
    Which means, they have failed.

Thanks for your comment. Yeah Influence is fantastic :)

    Hey Orla, that’s awesome :)

It’s not so hard if you, you know… actually try…

    Heh, thanks man.
