LDC TV #4 – You’re Not Just The Middleman!

by Linus Rylander

Sorry for my horrible camera holding skills, but I hope I got the point across.

And by the way, this is a HUGE concept.

In my opinion, anyway.

The only way to guarantee victory, is to be awesome.

~Gary Vaynerchuk

Peace.

    Linus:

very good point! If you don’t get it there be a lot of money that you won’t make as an affiliate.

Hey, I understand about the camera angle…you’re in your sauna, right? :)

    Cheers,
    Thomas

Haha, yeah it is our sauna… that no one hardly ever uses, and I couldn’t find a better place in the house to shoot a video to test out the new flip ultra HD cam :)

  • David McLean

    Nice Video man,

I have really liked watching them so far, you always make a good point.

(I have read that comments are not working but as they turned themselves off I though I would chance that they have turned them selves back on :P)

The cam looks the be pretty good to mate.

    Cheers

Yes you are able to communicate your point. Good one. Hope you will come up with more interesting videos like this. Continue your good work.

Sounds easy.. But I bet it takes a lot of time to perfect the art of getting somebody to trust you. That has to be a full-time job right? Which perfectly makes sense if you want to earn a lot.

Yeah, tribal thing. We have too much stuff floating around us to consume it unstructurally.

  • http://www.accountancyhere.com Mike Bern@ tax accountant uk

    Hi there!
I would like to say that you have made a valid point but i requires a hell lot of work but once you are established you dont have to worry at all …but then nothing comes easy, once working hard is fair enough to earn lot of money easily afterwards.

  • Yousef

I wanna get a Flip Ultra HD, but I also want a MacBook and either a Blackberry Bold or an iPhone. Need to find out what order I want to get them in, I reckon I’ll go for the lower end first.

Anywhere, Linus, you looked stoned in your video mate :) made it even more enjoyable to hear you ramble on about the fact that we need trust between us and the customer which is a very true statement.

Also, list building = key. If you’re in a market where you can give the potential customers various different products while offering them some form of serious value, your at an advantage.

  • http://www.nuwavpublishing.com Avis Williams

Your right Linus..you need to provide real value to people first to gain their trust, but also you need to establish an realationship with your customers through your mailing list and blog as well…if you do that..they will come back and eventually purchase from you in the future.

    Hi Linus,

man i have a very serious question for you and it’s kind of the million dollars quetion for me .

How the heck in the world do you manage to keep up with all your niche websites blog and list and the hunderds of web 2.0 sites you have during the school ??????? i’m in high school and i have one niche site that i’m pretty serious about getting to the next level and i’m very uncomfortble with the fact that i’ll start school in a few days …. i even think that i may quite and focuse on my online business but i don’t know i’m pretty confused really . specialy because this is my final year and i have to take care of school more than ever before .

some times i start thinking about this issue and i say Hmmm so what is thepurpose of this whole studieng thing ? get a job and make money ? so i’m already making money online so why the heck should i study ? LOL

Dmn man i’m really lost at this point .

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

Good question… I generally don’t work on more than a few sites at a time. Like, two or three at most.

The other stuff I can’t manage, I outsource.

I get most of my work done during the holidays, like in the summer and at Christmas.

Trust is everything, you are spot-on with your insights. If you don’t have trust from the onset, then you might as well move on, because you will always be second guessing. Thanks.

Nice Video pal, I have really liked watching them so far, you always make a good point, but its difficult to get trust of people on you, it is quite time taking process, which needs faith and patience.

no no you have absolutely captured with right angle, talking on marketing this is full time job where you have to devote your full time to business if you are a serious money blogger.

I can’t imagine how hard working you are and you are still schooling. And with the guts of outsourcing from other providers is a great risk but you are able to pull everything together. Great job!

    Great point.

I’ve found that I’m doing better than ever before now that I’m really concentrating on creating really good (informative) content on my landing sites.

I mean… I can make affiliate sales on BS sites (I’ve been doing it for years) … but I think going about it the more legit way is a bit more rewarding.

Trust is what encourages people to not only to leave your site through an affiliate link due to your recommendation but to also come back in the future to see what else you are talking about.

    Thanks for sharing,

It’s not really that hard to get people to trust you if you do the right things… I have material coming up on this… so, stay tuned people.

Excellent point in your video. Affiliates really need to do more than just recommend products they should truly understand them in order to sell them the best.

  • http://www.navl.com Rob@Moving Companies

You’re right, trust between the business and the client is one of the most important factors in making a sale, or repeated sales.
