LDC TV Episode #2 – OBVIOUSLY, STUPID!!

by Linus Rylander

Yup, so I got some awesome responses and some not so awesome responses to the last video, but overall I think most people liked it…

Today I present to you the most enthusiastic LDC TV episode of the century… talking about common sense and retarded questions.

Now – PLEASE don’t get me wrong here… I know for a lot of newbies EVERYTHING is really confusing and you have a LOT of things you’re unsure of… but what I’m saying is – Do your best and find out the answer yourself. I GUARANTEE that’s the fastest way you could possibly learn.

So I know I’m a little boring and stuff but I think this is really important.

And is you’re interested in Anik Singal’s free report of Awesome – check it out by clicking here.

^Do check it out… it is good shit, I promise.

And that’s all for today… G’night.

Linus

Your video comes off condescending. You look like a young boy with a snotty attitude, not someone who should be listened to.

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

Yeah I kind of realized that, which is why I put in the “please don’t get me wrong” part in the post…

    Thanks for your comment though.

    Hi Linus,

You got a great site running here. Just some advice I would like to give you. Don’t talk down on people by saying stuff like “……why I might consider you retarded” and “…..obviously,stupid”. I know it might be the way you talk, but you are talking to people not animals (for the lack of a better example). People might can easily get offended. Take it or leave it man. I like your stuff and that is why I joined your list. Have a great day.

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

Yeah thanks, I see what you mean. I guess I’m just trying to express what I feel about things and encourage people to do things a little differently.

I’m not attacking anyone directly and I try not to offend anyone, but if anyone did get offended… I’m sorry.

Please don’t take it personally, I’m merely trying to encourage people to think for themselves, which is in my opinion the only real way to learn.

Guy please do not take Linus words in the wrong context. He is completely right he just explain it in the wrong way. As you can see he is young but that does not mean you cannot learn anything from him.

    Just my 2 cents

What’s PPC… and where I can get it again?

Seriously, a lot of people want things on a golden platter. As been said, if you don’t think for yourself then this business model is not for you. Everything is already here been given to you. Here is what everyone needs to do
    plan—>take action/risk—>analysis results—>not sure about the results—>ask questions

BTW lemonarian…this is your space and videos you say wherever the fu*ck you want to say

    lol…@4.43

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

    Thanks for the comments…

So basically, if you sum up all this in three words, here’s what I want to say:

    Think for yourself.

And yeah, I know it’s my space here which is why I even dare to call people retarded and whatnot… and I mean, if you don’t like it you don’t have to watch it.

You don’t have to subscribe to my RSS and you don’t have to be on my email list – there’s a big unsubscribe button at the bottom of every email.

Also – BIG lesson to everyone doing Vlogs – don’t record videos after midnight.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

The hell with all these crybabies. Remember one thing in life. Be yourself. Dont be fake like many people are today. If we are idiots, run with it. You are the Guru that everyone wants to be. You are spending your time and effort to grow your business. Not them. If you want to be real, the majority of people will follow. If you want to be fake, people like me will see right through you. In the end, if you have great advice, people will flock to you. As for age, it doesn’t matter how old you are, if are knowledgeable about something you will still be highly sought after. You are wise beyond your years but don’t change because someone told you to change. Did you ever think that maybe that is why people follow you because you are real? Now go out there and kick ass and take names!

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

    Dude. Word up.

We need more people like you. Thanks for your comment :)

I like your aggressive attitude Linus.

Sometimes you come across very crude, and that creates conflict which makes for an on-going lively discussion.

That basically allows you to keep a pretty tight reign on the conversation – Great work.

Every now and then though – throw in an ounce of humility – best of both worlds.

Just thought I’d add a couple of my on-topic favorite quotes to yours…as some food for thought..

“…and if they cannot think well, others will do their thinking for them.”
    George Orwell

“Teaching is demonstrating that something is possible.
Learning is making it possible for yourself.” Paulo Coehlo

On the topic of people wanting guidance (or asking stupid questions), it may not just be about their lack of self confidence. (OK, if they are beginners, it is, and that’s natural).

For some, it may be more a reluctance to waste a lot of time and effort with the even more stupid (than their questions) “reinventing the wheel” or making the same mistakes as everyone else…Thus wasting money and time. (Go figure, we all want to avoid that).

Mistakes may be the source of our greatest lessons and best understanding, but it’s just good thinking, wherever possible, to learn from the mistakes and successes of others…then go on to make new unique mistakes and successes of our own.

    Another quote:

“If I have seen further than others, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants.” – Sir Isaac Newton

    OR the alternate…LOL

“If I have not seen as far as others, it is because I was standing in the footprints of giants” ?

    In the end, regarding confidence…

“Argue your limitations, and sure enough their yours” Richard Bach (Illusions)

We learn to walk before we learn to run…and in business, accelerating success by making use of the resources that present themselves (yeah, Linus…you are presenting yourself…and are willing to share) is what smart newbies do…however dumb their questions may seem.

Obvious answers are relative to knowledge and experience.

By the way…ha ha…I’ve never emailed you. :)

If, one day, I do…trust that any question I may ask is obviously not obvious to me, or I wouldn’t bother asking, obviously. :)

    Thanks for the video…

So the most obvious thing i noticed in your second video in comparison to your first video is that you seemed more confident this time and your english has improved obviously. I obviously agree that every question has got some obvious sensible answer to it. And i loved that you used the saying of Mahatma Gandhi. Just one advice, cut out those unwanted words like slangs as they doesn’t sounds good. If you want to say something in that manner, there are many better substitue words for them which doesnt offend the listenner. So just find those words and use them if necessary.okhay! And dont mind the word obvious, i used it many times just as you used it in your video ;-0

.-= Steven´s last blog ..How To Make Money From Your Passions! © =-.

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

    Almost entirely trial and error.

Of course my original knowledge was all from the ebooks and whatnot, but I’ve taken that foundation and built upon it… tried other people’s methods, seen what works and what doesn’t and developed my own methods from there.

You learn by doing. That’s the only way.

  • http://www.charityglassdesigns.com Kohler Horst@Christian jewelry

Very true. Its the belief in oneself which can make us do anything. if we really want to do something and if we want answers to our question we should try ourselves to find it out by giving our 100% in finding it. Learning is something which never stops and never finishes. And its only we who can teach ourselves because it totally depend on us what we are interested in and what we want to learn. i really liked your concept of learn by doing. keep it up! :-)

  • http://halloweendogcostumes.org Cathy @ Halloween Dog Costumes

I think a lot of people do want things handed to them without actually working for it or searching it out them self. I know I have had people ask me for help and I will tell them what I know if I can. I want to give back because so many have helped me a long the way. But often times, the people I help don’t even say a simple thank you or seem irritated that I didn’t tell them every little detail (instead I’ll often point them to where they can find the info themselves).
You are young, but obviously very intelligent. ‘m glad you aren’t letting others take advantage of you.
I’d be curious as to some of the questions you get asked.

  • Reid

Opinions are opinions… however, facts are facts. Having been able to converse with Lemonarian over a few emails, he is spot on when it comes to internet marketing. It doesn’t matter whether he is 15 or 115 years old, he knows the game and plays it well. Sometimes it takes having to hear the hard truth to get you motivated to act. It is not just the words, but the overall meaning of message… and I think he expressed it perfectly.

  • http://nobrainernicheblogs.com Lisa

Love your site, Linus, and love what you have to say.

I was on a coaching call yesterday with a guy who asked me…”So then, how do I make a site with a squeeze page and an opt-in list etc…” I told him, “You can do one of two things: Outsource it, or learn how to do it yourself through trial and error the way everyone else has had to do it. You probably don’t like hearing that, but it’s the truth.”

Truth is religion in this or any other business! Don’t compromise yourself to fit the masses. There are boatloads of people out there who like your style for exactly what it is…no bullshit, all truth.

Hi all. Just my twopennorth personally I am a big tough guy and I can take it and actually I prefer the no bs approach Lemonarian takes and the sometimes harsh language. However words like ‘retarded’ are unnecessary and I think its cos English is Ls second language that he uses the word. Suffice to say some people find this word VERY offensive what you are really doing with this word is comparing people who dont understand autoresponders with people with special needs and learning disabilities. I dont think for a second L means that when he uses the word and calling such people stupid is fine in my book but its just a word you dont need to use and with some thought wont anymore. Also saying you can unsubscribe is just not good enough you are putting stuff out in a public arena and you cannot justify poor behaviour by saying ‘you dont have to read it”. Where does that end? is racist material ok cos ‘you dont have to read it’. I would say NO.
All that said I feel bad now as its a relatively minor point on a great blog with some excellent top notch stuff on it. Ifirst landed after getting your Linkwheel pdf and its really helped me.

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

Hi Jay, point taken. English is not my first language, but I know the meaning of the word very well, and there’s a reason I used it.

The thing about racist material being OK because you don’t have to read it… well it’s just a matter of opinions. I’m not saying that I don’t agree with you, I’m just saying that that is just your own opinion and not a universal fact or whatever.

If people hate me, I know I’m doing something right. Trying to be everything to everyone will lead me to being nothing to no one… and right now this is just the way I am.

    Linus

  • http://www.cameracash101.com Jay

Yeah dude but getting a bit semantic dont really want to get into a big argument about rhetoric. I must just say I do like your style and people (me as much as anyone) need telling hard with no sugar coating. All I am saying is you can do that without implying people are disabled. People are stupid and lazy and dont think for themselve esp in IM world it seems and they need to hear the truth which so many marketers talk around cos they want to sell you something.
Keep it coming man I am learning good shit from you and of course be yourself you just dont need to use language which may put off good people. Oh and ok the whole racist thing was pushing the envelope a tad.
    Best

I agree! Just be yourself. The internet is full of fake wannbe types and yes, everyone can see through them. Age doesn’t matter. You’re fifteen years old and doing better than most people and even if you are aspiring to do better – at least you are doing something.

Keep up the good work Linus. I just found you and watched a few videos, I see something good in you. Some immaturity but hey, you’re young! I think you should grow a beard, maybe wear some coveralls and take up smoking a pipe…this will give the appearance of maturity.

Online money is there for anyone who wants to take it if they want to learn and you are making it happen so keep it up!!

    Thanks for sharing!
