LDC TV Episode #3 – No excuses, ever.

by Linus Rylander

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT MAKING MONEY

There I said it.

Yes, it requires hard work. But if you really want it, that shouldn’t stop you. NOTHING should.

If you have a reason you’re not making money which you feel is valid, please do prove me wrong and leave a comment.

On another note, I got an email today from a lady that wondered which training program I personally would recommend to join, for learning affiliate marketing.

I told her:

Affiliate Classroom 2.0, no question.

Anik really delivers and he’s totally streamlined the learning process, so I couldn’t recommend it more highly. It’s great :)

So a lot of people seem to have that same question, so I just thought I’d share.

Please leave a comment if you agree, or disagree with me, and you could always try to prove me wrong and tell me that it’s “different” for you…

Linus

Wow, Nice hair style you have. But it’s true, even though i am facing these problem…i always believe that IM really works..And it’s work!

It’s does take alot of works and self-thinking along the process, asking great questions…i believe you will be a advanced IM than other basic IM. Oh ya, you have to action to make it happen instead of reading reading READING!

  • Phil Girdlestone

    Hi,

I love your site and your approach Linus. I’ve been following you since I signed up with SE Nuke. SE Nuke blows me away every time!
Now, I don’t know Anik’s Affiliate Classroom although I have heard excellent things about Anik’s training but I do know that Howie Schwartz’s IM Remarkable is the BEST Internet Marketing course I have ever come across. I watched a webinar on product creation earlier in the week – step by step- it blew me away. Yes, it’s complicated to get everything in the right order but to have a guy take you by the hand and lead you through building a product that can make you money on the front end and then build a list and then sell them Affiliate products or more of your own- wow! PLUS, there’s a forum, with tutors to answer your questions following the webinars. They deal with PPC, Affiliate Marketing, SEO, Web 2.0, Business Mindset (that is GOLD) and motivation- and a little twitter thrown in too. There’s also a weekly hotseat where you post the links to projects that your working on and the tutors and even Mr. Schwartz himself give extensive feedback.
Keep up the good work Linus and I look forward to your next email,
    Best wishes,
    Phil
p.s. the link above is an affiliate link too. If you prefer not to go through an affiliate link (and some people don’t) then type in http://www.imremarkable.com into your browser.

AAaaaaah, Linus, awesome haircut, man :D Love it. Finally you got rid of your looooooong hair. Now you look really smart.

Totally true video, and I always push myself to do more, rather than play games or watch a movie…

Yet another awesome piece of advice from a 15year old :)

    Thanks Linus

Hey now that’s pretty cool, there is no excuses Period! of course when a fifteen year old can make money then why cant anyone else but again its an assumption that everyone is as smart as this fifteen year old guy. Way to go Linus but would like to give a tip, always welcome the person who criticise you than the people who praise oyu. But that doesn’t mean that you need to approve their comments lols… the whole world will know then. Just keep in mind their points.

Good post, we all need to prioritize.

    Stop making excuses.

    Pay yourself 1st.

Anik has good content on using article marketing. Free!

No reason to let lack of money of money stop you from using that technique.

Wow, this really hit home for me. When I realize there’s nothing stopping me from making money, and then realize that I’m not currently making much money, it does not only motivate me to get up off my ass and do something but also helps me clarify what I’m doing wrong: and that is laziness and not taking enough action. My real internet marketing journey starts TODAY!

    Cheers Linus.

  • Miha J.

Making money is nothing compared to making a living. It is pity that you still live in a dorm.

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

Lol? Dude, I’m 15. I live at home with my parents…

  • Bryan

Have you actually taken this course? I doubt it. But you have to say what you need to say I guess to get your commission. Here’s a little advice. When you send out your offers and such to the people on your mailing list, you might try and act like a professional instead of a spoiled little brat. I don’t appreciate getting offers from you that have profanity in them. You need to have your mouth washed out with soap.

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

Wow. The distrust in our industry never stops surprising me, but not that I can blame you.

I never EVER promote something I don’t support, believe in 100% and have tried myself.

If I actually HELP people they are more likely to buy from me in the future – so just sending out links for quick commissions would be retarded.

About the so called profanity (personally I don’t consider things like “badass” profanity, but sure) – I have established an image, and I talk in a certain way.

I can’t be everything to everyone, which sucks, but it is what it is. I’d rather be someone to some people rather than no one to everyone though.

But hey, if you don’t like it, nothing is there to stop you from pressing the unsubscribe button.

I also don’t enjoy the taste of soap.

  • Mohamed (Egypt)

    Wow Linus you impressed me.

I learned tooooooo much and it is time to start taking action, i already put an action plan for myself to make that i doing something not just reading reading……

In my action plan i will target only one keyword per day, it is about 2 hours work (have final exams, i am a medical student).

Thanks for your advice, keep going and don’t let those haters make you stop helping people. Everyone is talking about Linkwheel and how it is one of the best link building strategies available.

“THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT MAKING MONEY”? I’ve got plenty excuses, too much work, too busy, no money to start, too hard, don’t know how, no one to show me, too tired, not technically sound…just to name a few. It’s usually not one excuse but a combination of many that stops people. Great video dude.

Hah, yeah sure you have excuses, as well as everyone else.

    Hi,

You are right, there are no excuses. Talking as someone that is trying to build a online business, its alot of work and I know it will take A while before I make any money.. I am not giving up, cause I really want to make a living online full time.

I think what puts some people off is where to actually start, theres so many make money online products to choose from that dont work or have poor support. and what irritates me alot about those products that they don’t have any real life success stories or proof to tell me that their system actually works.

I cannot agree or disagree about Anik’s program. He is well-known and respectable, is he the best, I simply don’t know. Frank Kern’s stuff is very impressive too and delivers. If you already started, Rich Schefren’s programs are the King. So, there is quite a choice…

One thing I totally agree is that there are no excuses.

Just get started and do what’s next! – Great video Linus, keep at it!

I think the way you just started doing videos is a great model for people who make all kinds of excuses. The point is, it doesn’t matter! If you really want something you’re just going to do it anyway – even if it feels inconvenient at first.

There are soo many resources and ways to get started for free, with free help and people who are willing to help you out when you’re new.

Just open your eyes and your mouth, ask and get going!

I took the trial for affiliate classroom and I was kind of overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff available in their site – and I’m not even a newbie!

Monthly fee is a little too high for me though. I find that you need to make money to be able to afford this stuff – but you need the training before you can make any money… egg and chicken?

Thanks for the comments everyone, appreciate it.

@Clare, yeah, there’s a lot in there! And yes, you do need money to afford things… but in this instance there is a trial, so you could take some of the strategies and run with them, so to speak.

I started with $0 and worked my way up from there… it’s possible.

I suppose the definition is how much money. Everyone can make enough to get by but it is about getting that little bit more to lead a comfortable lifestyle and never have to worry about finances again. That is what I am having problems achieving.

  • http://www.gadgets-4-free.co.uk Chris@Free PS3

Hard work is all it takes, you’ve just got to keep your motivation high and focus on your goals during those tough times, because there will be some.
I think joining a training program is a great idea for those starting out and Affiliate Classroom is certainly worth a look.

  • http://www.parvinclauss.com/business-signs-elmhurst-il.aspx Mike@Elmhurst Sign Companies

You’re definitely right, there’s no excuse not to be making money online if you’re trying to make money online. However, your attitude can be a large factor in this. Some people just never follow through, no matter what they’re trying in life. And some people just don’t know how to motivate themselves and stay persistent when it’s not working out at first. But if you really want to, you’ll find a way. Thanks for recommending Affiliate Classroom, I haven’t checked it out yet.

  • http://medifastcoupons.weebly.com/ [email protected]

True, there is no excuse for not making money. There are opportunities out there for those who are willing to go for them. On the other hand though for some things you have to spend money to make money.

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

It’s not a definition of how much money… and you don’t always have to spend money to make money. I started with nothing, and now… well I’m making money.

It’s more of a definition of how much you hustle.

Making money is never easy, but if you believe in yourself, i think nothing is impossible. Beside this Affiliate Classroom is one of the best site where you can learn how to make some money. It really helped me a lot.

    Hi Linus,

I have just started using LinkJuicer and was directed to your site by the guys there. I can see the possabilities of this concept and am going to give it a try on one of my newest projects. However, I have a sceptical question and please forgive my negativity.

If Link Wheels work, why has this blog only got a PR of 2? Am I missing something else?

    Regards,
    SiteOne Web Design

  • http://lemonarian.com lemonarian

    Mike… this blog?

First of all I’ve never actively spent time building links here… just posted some stuff I felt like posting and that’s the way it’s always been.

Second… PR is irrelevant. I haven’t touched this blog in months now (taking a break..) and I still have hundreds of visitors per day…

Yeah I know I’m a bit late on all the replies… as I said, I haven’t touched this place in months.

  • Will

    HAHA!!! Hilarious comment.

“I don’t appreciate getting offers from you that have profanity in them.”

Let’s not be hyper-sensitive or anything.
